New Shifter Romance Project
Good morning! It's just before 11am on a Monday morning. And I wanted to tell you about my new closed door shifter romance project I've begun.
Not sure WHY exactly this genre struck, but strike, it did. I'm hooked. Maybe trapped is a better metaphor? Hooked: fishing. Trapped: ANIMAL. Caught, ensnared...we could go on.
At any rate. We have the first dozen pages or so written. We have an MMC, and I'll share a ChatGPT (I ONLY use Chat for aesthetic and inspiration type images, NEVER for covers or interior images) drawn character. We also have an FMC, still working on her. We have names. Your MMC is Fenris. Your FMC is Coraleigh (Cora - Lee).
We have a location as well. Whitefish, Montana will be the setting for this story. Whitefish is near the Canadian border and close to Glacier National Park. As with all my books and actual locations that I have yet to visit in person, I've contacted the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce (I contact the Chamber with all my books and they're typically extremely happy to help) and requested as much information on the town as they can send. Specifically, I need maps. This helps me to get a better layout of the town so I know where and how my characters will move and utilize the spaces around them.
As stated earlier, I'll share an image of the MMC below. But enough of that. I'm working on edits for the Blues Avenue novella I've been writing. This introduces new characters and has a couple scenes with old ones. Also, this is ONLY for newsletter subscribers. Sorry, not sorry. If YOU would like to read this once I release it, just sign up for my newsletter HERE.
And in other news, in less than two weeks, I am leaving for IRELAND and SCOTLAND!! Seriously excited for this trip. CANNOT. WAIT. And yes, I will post pictures from said trip, but my social media accounts will get them first.
As always, thanks for stopping by. Take care and happy reading!
Your Lady of Literature,
E.L. Irwin
