So far, these are just some of the responses I've received from readers:
"This book paints a picture of redemption, where grief and pain are not wasted but shaped by God into something beautiful and unexpected."
"A page-turner that won't disappoint."
"A beautiful story of a young woman who after tragically losing her parents, grapples with grief and has to rebuild her life, eventually finding love."
"Rebel + Golden Girl = The power of love heals all wounds."

Now, for news that's NOT book related, I've shared previously about my intention to get my gelding Rowan broke to ride... Well, I'm changing course on that. Rowan is somewhere in the ballpark of eight years old, which IS rather late to attempt breaking him. I'd hoped he might come around, and while the trainer DID get a saddle on him, unfortunately, Rowan just couldn't toggle off that fight or flight switch. He panicked over everything. Repeatedly. Often times hurting himself in the process. So, now he's just going to live out his best life in peace and comfort, and I do intend to continue working with him, but not to ride. I'll be happy that I did save him from the kill pen and will look for another, BROKE gelding next year. So, that's that.
That's all I've got for you now. Hope your fall is off to a wonderful start. This is my FAVORITE time of year. I just love the cool, crispness of the mornings and the COLORS. So dreamy.
Take care of you, and remember to be kind. We're all dealing with something and everyone can use a kind word or deed.
As always, thanks for stopping by.
