Well, technically, it's not "new" as in was never published before. Because Long Live the Rebel was published originally in 2019. Along with my other books, it was unpublished in 2021, when my publisher closed down. I've just finished first round revisions on this. And yes, I am revising because, I've learned A LOT since first being published and want to make sure this story is at its best before I offer it to you, again.

Now, how about we meet some of the key characters from Long Live the Rebel. First, we have AJ McAdams. She's twenty-three and lives on Coronado Island just outside of San Diego where she uses the North Island Naval Base as inspiration for the military romances she writes.

Next, we'll meet Ryler Dean, my MMC for Long Live the Rebel. Ryler is a former Army Ranger who is seeking a peaceful existence in the mountains and trees surrounding moody Sequim, Washington.

Next is Harley, AJ's best friend who works in Guest Services for a swanky hotel on the island.
Then we have AJ's and Harley's good friend, Kevin. Kevin is a barista for a local coffee shop.
And here are a few more characters.
Starting at the top, left to right: Jo, cafe owner in Sequim. Chief, owner of Wicked Charlie's Bar in Sequim. Poppy, fan of AJ's who works with her mother at their bookstore in Sequim.

I'm going through a second reading just to make sure I didn't miss anything the first time around. Then, it should head off to editing, then a new cover, then publication! Happy Day!
I will be looking for Beta Readers for this one as well. So stay tuned for more information on that. As with all my books, this will be steamy, yet clean and closed door with faith elements. This one is technically a romantic suspense, whereas the others were romances with suspenseful elements. Just a heads up on that.
