Falling For You

You see what I did there?? We've said goodbye to summer; Hello fall. Oh, you're looking fine. I've been waiting all year for this season. Honestly, I enjoy them all: winter, with its snow and ice and cold, not to mention Christmas; spring, with the budding newness of the year to come, the greenery and excitement as the earth and its denizens shrug off the frigid temperatures; summer (my least favorite), with its heat, and sunshine, and blooms, blossoms, and growth; and then fall. Fall, where we exhale the energy-sapping heat, say goodbye to bugs, watch in awe as the world turns golden. It's soup season, and flannels, and sweaters, and hot chocolate, and bonfires. I love it.

It's also a great time to find new books to read. Currently, I'm sitting at 60 of 50 books read for my Goodreads challenge. Yay me. And with almost three months left in the year...who knows? The sky's the limit. I have fourteen books on my TBR. How many do you have? And that's just the books I have here at the house. This does not include the ones I've preordered, or have in my shopping cart. It could be drugs, I tell myself, and assure my husband.

Let's see, what else is new. Oh, my shoulder surgery is scheduled. FINALLY. Truly, I'm thanking God for this. It just needs to be done. December 11, is the date, so far, but I'm hopeful for a cancellation closer so I can get in sooner.

Other book news: Out of the Blue is now available in both ebook and paperback bit.ly/3SAlmoT . So far, all 5-star ratings, so that's good to hear. I'm looking into audio, but want to find really good narrators, ones that do NOT sound like Siri giving you driving directions, lol.
