If you're a newsletter subscriber, you might have read recently about some help I requested. Namely, I was trying to decide which of my back-stock books to revise and republish next. Just to be clear, I am revising and republishing ALL of them. I just wasn't sure which one to work on next. I did post about it on IG and TT and it looks like you want Long Live the Rebel to be my next project.

I had one reader ask WHY I was revising and not simply republishing the books. It's a solid question and my answer? It's pretty simple. I've learned a lot since first being published and want to present these stories to you again in the best shape they can be in. You deserve it and so do these characters.

Speaking of characters... Long Live the Rebel is the story of AJ McAdams, military romance author. She lives with her cat, Josephine, on Coronado Island, near San Diego. One day, she receives news of an inheritance that was left for her, but in order to claim it, she must travel to Sequim, Washington. There, she meets Ryler Dean, a former Army Ranger. He wants nothing to do with her and avoids her at all cost until someone begins threatening AJ's life. Ryler to the rescue in this romantic suspense novel. I'm looking at a release date sometime mid 2026. Will confirm that the closer I get.

In other news, NOT book related, I recently returned from a trip to the east coast, where I visited New Hampshire and Massachusetts, specifically Manchester and Boston. The occasion, you ask? My daughter was graduating from Southern New Hampshire University. She now has her bachelor's in Data Analytics. My girl's got some serious smarts. And I can't thank God enough for all He has done in her life. College was not something we pushed with our kids. If they wanted to go, I would be 100% behind them, but if they decided it wasn't for them, then I was 100% behind that as well. Originally, she'd intended to go to beauty school, then was approached about a job as a lab tech for the government. God was moving, y'all. Because one thing led to another and she was hired and loving her job. Soon she as doing the work equivalent to someone with a PhD. Her employer told her they couldn't pay her at that wage because she didn't have a degree. But they did offer a program for her to go to school. So while working 30+ hours a week, getting married and starting her life as a wife and his best friend, she completed all her requirements to graduate Summa Cum Laude. Have I mentioned just HOW PROUD I am of this girl??

SO. DARNED. STINKING. PROUD. Like, seriously. My heart is overflowing. Thank You, Jesus.

While on the east coast, we did some sightseeing. We visited the Museum, the Library, the Aquarium, saw Paul Revere's house, ate at a couple Irish Pubs, had magnificent clam chowder (like SO good), sampled tea that was the same kind thrown into the Boston Harbor, rode a subway for the first time (not a TERRIBLE experience), had cannolis for the first time, and walked all over Boston. My son in law asked how I was liking it, knowing I get anxiety in crowded places. I enjoyed myself there. VERY loud and crowded. But also interesting. Such history and architecture. It was like a convergence of many cultures. I heard French, Russian, German, Indian, and some form of Asian (sorry, I couldn't identify it). Like I said, very interesting. I'll share some images from my time there below.

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving, and as always, thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and God bless and keep you.
