Hello dear reader, and welcome to my Super Bowl Sunday blog post.
Bah humbug.
Look, I'm a Green Bay Packer's fan and since I can't cheer the The Pack in this game, then I guess I'll cheer for the Refs.
Pfft, whatever. There's always next year. I hope.
Regardless, are you cheering for a specific team today? Are you a Seahawks Fan or a Patriots fan? If my grandmother was alive, she'd be cheering for the Patriots. She loved that team. This is not the same grandmother who recently turned 100. No, this grandmother died a few years ago.
In addition to being a Pats fan, she was a gifted quilter. Even though she despised the Packers, she loved me and made me a Green Bay Packers quilt one year for Christmas. I love that thing. It sits proudly on the back of my couch. Sigh, one year, we'll bring that Lombardi trophy home where it belongs.
If you subscribe to my newsletter, keep an eye out, I just sent the latest one out. If you haven't signed up yet, you can do that HERE.
If you follow me on social media, you may have seen my post about sick horses. Good news is they seem to be better. I'm so thankful for that. And for the fact that I was home and able to catch it early. Early made all the difference.
Did you happen to see the last email I sent? What did you think of the new characters? Long Live the Rebel is with an editor right now and the cover artist is eager to get started on it. Once I get a cover, newsletter subscribers will get eyes on it first. I'm so excited to see what she comes up with. Jena always does such a fantastic job.
Below, I've shared a picture of that beautiful quilt as well as me in a Cheesehead. Enjoy.
Take care everyone and be kind. We ALL need it.

PS: Two books I recently finished and wanted to recommend are: Eight Seconds in Red River Creek by Cali Black. This one just released and it's amazing. ALL. The. FEELS. All of them. The other one was Seeking Persephone by Sarah M. Eden. I've always liked the story of Hades and Persephone. It reminds me of Beauty and the Beast as well as Jane Eyre. This story didn't disappoint. Read it basically in 24 hours. So good.
