The Heat is On

And now that song is in my head. It's not a bad song; in fact, I like it--yes, I'm an eighties child--but it's literally an extreme level of hell outside right now. We're high desert in this part of Washington state, emphasis on the desert part. When I was younger, I used to love the heat. I'd brag about how it didn't bother me.

It bothers me now. Ugh. What part of the world are you from? Tell me it's cooler by you. I want to imagine a brisk ocean breeze, the whisper of the wind through the pines, rain. I miss rain. I want to see it, smell it, feel it. So yeah, help this hot mess of a girl out. Where are you from?

Should have some Out of the Blue news for you soon. It's getting SO close. So. Close.

Everything is coming together. Just a little bit longer...

Coffee update: remember that MARVELOUS Dandy Blend I was telling you about? Well, I may have to cut that back or out. It has chicory root in it, which is full of potassium, which is good for you, unless you have heart issues. Then it can be bothersome, as potassium causes the heart to clench. Super. Ah well, such is life. I'm taking a break from it and will revisit it again, maybe just not on an everyday basis.
